Our History
Healthcare coalitions were established nationwide to improve coordination among healthcare organizations during public health emergencies and disasters. Southwest Colorado Healthcare Coalition continues that mission by building relationships, strengthening regional readiness, and improving response coordination.
Today, the coalition supports members through planning, training, resource-sharing, and real-world incident coordination that helps protect communities across the region.
