ICS 400: Advanced ICS for Complex Incidents


Course Description:

This two-day course utilizes the new FEMA ICS-400 (EMI Course #G400) curriculum and meets equivalency requirements established by the NIMS Integration Center for NIMS compliance. ICS-400 level training is targeted for command and general staff, agency administrators, department heads, emergency managers, areas commander and MultiAgency Coordination System/Emergency Operations Center managers. Course topics include: ICS fundamentals review for command and general staff, major and/or complex incident management, area command and multi-agency coordination. It is recommended to bring a laptop computer, if you have one.

Target Audience:

Emergency Responders/Receivers, local, state, and federal agency personnel who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents.

Pre-Requisites:

Anyone registering for this course must have proof of successful completion of the following: FEMA IS-700, IS-800, ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300 equivalent courses.
