A special “We Stand with Public Health” webcast focused on the pressure and threats that our public health officials face and what we can do together to protect them. Several public health officials shared personal stories. Researchers provided data on the problem. And leaders from the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, National Association of County and City Health Officials, and the Big Cities Health Coalition offered a call to action for us to come together to protect public health officials, revitalize our public health system and acknowledge the critical work of public health. You can read more about this call to action at the website: http://standwithpublichealth.jhsph.edu.
